AN EVENING FULL OF VIBRANT MUSIC AND TEXTURES
On 12 December, Live at Our Place invites you to a specially prepared ambient set, inviting the audience into a calming and restorative soundscape, an offering of stillness and healing as we approach the year’s end and the depths of winter in Yung-Tuan's set and follows with a contemplative journey from the tangible to the intangible from pianist Daria Fedorchenko.
YUNG-TUAN
Yung-Tuan (YT) is passionate about exploring the sonic possibilities of percussion instruments, found objects, and playful toys—often blending them in unexpected and imaginative ways. Guided by curiosity and intuition, she transforms sound into storytelling, creating immersive experiences that invite listeners into new worlds.
Joining her on stage will be participants from YT’s ongoing Play ___ Workshop at Treehouse, bringing an added layer of spontaneity and community. At moments, the audience will also be invited to take part in the ritual, becoming part of the shared journey.
DARIA FEDORCHENKO
Anima Lab is an art project created by Daria Fedorchenko. It encapsulates practices oriented towards the psychological and spiritual stimulation of the listener through live piano performance. The program of the concert is carefully crafted through symbolism and meditation techniques, presented in an interdisciplinary formula.
Daria's formats are experimental. It is all about perception and mental perspectives. Her music is stripped of pretence. She plays with the nature of sound and expresses from the rawness of symbols.
