  • Podium explore 59 Bagijnestraat Leeuwarden, FR, 8911 DN Netherlands (map)

Theatre maker, musician-poet and artist-researcher M Alberto, born in Curaçao and living in the Netherlands, makes spiritual performance art in which they give voice to black, queer, anarchist and sex worker activism. During Gaudeamus Festival they present their new performance RADIO VITÓ: a musical essay-poem about resistance, daring to imagine radical change.

in RADIO VITÓ, M (re)searches, with an international eight-person ensemble of innovative makers/musicians, a form in which composition, poetry and improvisation are equal. The texts are based on an ongoing research into special figures in the Caribbean canon and stories of people from all over the world who, on a small or large scale, resist.
